The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, talent development, and employee engagement while guiding a high-performing HR team. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Advise senior leadership on key HR initiatives and issues.
- Drive organization development and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the full range of HR, ER, statutory compliance, and L&D activities.
HR Operations
- Ensure clear communication and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Resolve employee concerns and lead progressive discipline processes.
- Oversee HR budgeting and cost control.
- Facilitate performance management systems and employee development programs.
- Act as a liaison between employees and leadership for conflict resolution and engagement.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection strategies to attract top talent.
- Design onboarding programs that align new hires with company culture and goals.
- Forecast manpower needs and implement workforce planning solutions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Cultivate a healthy and collaborative work environment.
- Address employee grievances fairly and promptly.
- Drive employee engagement programs to boost morale and productivity.
- Champion organizational values and culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to support reward strategies.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Develop HR policies aligned with applicable laws and best practices.
- Educate staff on compliance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure legal compliance across all employment categories.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Use data to guide HR decision-making and measure impact of HR programs.
- Present key HR metrics and insights to leadership teams.
Training & Development
- Design and manage training programs tailored to organizational needs.
- Conduct skill gap assessments and create growth roadmaps.
- Support employee development and succession planning.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth understanding of HR laws, regulations, and current trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 15 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Masters degree from a reputed institution (e.g., XLRI, SIMB, TISS, or equivalent).
- Experience in healthcare or veterinary care sectors preferred.
- Exposure to mission-driven or philanthropic organizations is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building HR practices from the ground up.
