Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR & Talent Management
- Build HR strategies aligned with business goals across radio and digital operations.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: from workforce planning to onboarding across editorial, content, sales, tech, and support functions.
- Partner with leadership to design org structures and performance frameworks.
2. Labour Law Compliance & Policies
- Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and labour laws (POSH, PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, etc.)
- Draft and implement HR policies, contracts, and SOPs in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage vendor compliance and audits, liaising with legal and finance teams.
3. HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
- Streamline HR processes via tools and automation (Excel, HRMS, etc.)
- Supervise admin and facilities management (workspaces, travel, vendor management, etc.)
4. Organizational Development
- Play a key role in setting up new teams across cities or languages—defining JD, hiring plans, and onboarding protocols.
- Foster a performance-driven and inclusive work culture.
- Conduct training needs analysis and enable L&D initiatives tailored to radio and digital staff.
5. Stakeholder & Employee Relations
- Act as a bridge between leadership and employees, handling grievances, feedback loops, and engagement programs.
- Collaborate with editorial, tech, and marketing heads to address people and process needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8–10 years of core HR experience, in media (radio and/or digital) organizations.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR operations in India.
- Hands-on expertise in Excel for reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
- Experience in team setup across locations/functions.
- Exposure to admin and facilities management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced media environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with regional or multi-language media teams is a plus.
