Key Responsibilities and Duties
● Develop and maintain APIs, tools and capabilities to centralise data events.
● Solve technical problems to improve our development process, increase our
efficiency and unlock new business opportunities.
● Contribute to technical discussion around software architecture and help the
team to make decisions that are agile, incremental and beneficial for the long
term
● Systematically identify patterns and underlying issues in complex situations, and
to find solutions by applying logical and analytical thinking
● Provide stable and well defined solutions to simplify and accelerate business
decisions as well as strengthen the integrity of our payment pipelines.
The job requirements
● Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with strong
knowledge of at least one language like Java (Preferrable), Python or Golang.
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or
a related field or 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as
equivalent
● Proven experience with System Design and Software Architecture
● Strong communication and team collaboration skills
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Experience working with teams located in different timezones is a plus
● Experience with Reliability, Site Reliability, Observability and Monitoring is a strong
plus
