Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing utilizing RT-PCR techniques to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Execute complex extraction and analysis procedures for DNA and RNA samples according to established clinical protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all devices are calibrated and functioning within strict quality control standards.
- Manage sample handling, processing, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail to ensure data integrity.
- Adhere strictly to biosafety and operational safety protocols when handling clinical specimens.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to optimize workflows and ensure consistent turnover rates for diagnostic testing.
- Document all experimental findings and maintain comprehensive laboratory records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, specifically RT-PCR, DNA extraction, and RNA analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues within a clinical environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain precision in a high-volume laboratory setting.
