Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior C/C++ Developer with a strong background in MAC Layer protocols within the Telecommunications domain. The ideal candidate will have around 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with proven expertise in C and C++, and a deep understanding of MAC layer operations in wireless communication systems (e.g., LTE, 5G NR). The role requires a fast learner who can quickly adapt to new technologies and work efficiently in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize MAC layer features using C/C++ for telecom systems.
Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PHY, RRC, and testing teams to ensure system integration and performance.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and stability issues.
Contribute to system architecture and design decisions for new features and improvements.
Stay updated on emerging telecom standards and implement relevant improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with strong proficiency in C and C++.
In-depth knowledge and development experience in the MAC layer of telecommunications (preferably LTE/5G NR).
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and memory management.
Experience working with real-time embedded systems.
Familiarity with software version control tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Self-driven with a passion for technology and a fast learning curve for new tools and concepts.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with physical layer (PHY) and upper layer protocols (RLC, PDCP, RRC) is a plus.
Understanding of 3GPP specifications.
Exposure to network simulators or protocol analyzers.
