The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of machines and plant systems. Candidates must have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial or infrastructure maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines such as compressors, pumps, HVAC systems, cranes, hydraulic equipment, jacks etc.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
- Maintain plant utilities including water supply, air systems, and lighting.
Inspections & Monitoring:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems.
- Monitor performance and condition of machinery using diagnostic tools.
- Identify wear and tear and recommend replacement or servicing.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and fault reports.
- Assist in preparing maintenance schedules and spare part requisitions.
- Report critical issues to supervisors and suggest improvements.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with equipment operation standards and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in safety drills and toolbox talks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in machine and plant maintenance.
- Experience in metro depot, infrastructure, or industrial plant preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
Skills Required:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdown
