Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembly Line Engineering:
Design, develop, and optimize automated and semi-automated assembly lines involving screwing, tightening, and glue dispensing operations.
Set up and validate torque parameters, screwing profiles, and dispensing paths. Including Leak testing experience
2. Process Optimization:
Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) across lines to maximize uptime and productivity.
Identify bottlenecks and implement cycle time reduction strategies.
Should be capable for planning layout which include Line Balancing, VSM
3. Automation & Control Systems:
Collaborate with automation teams for PLC programming updates, HMI improvements, and integration of new automation features.
Support installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of vision systems for component detection, presence/absence, and quality checks.
4. Quality & SPC:
Implement and maintain SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems for critical processes and product parameters.
Ensure traceability, FMEA documentation, and support internal/external audits.
Preparation of check sheet s , control charts , FMEA documents, APQP Doccuments
5. Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean tools (DMAIC, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Root Cause Analysis).
Lead small to mid-scale improvement projects related to cost, quality, and efficiency.
6. Equipment & Maintenance:
Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules with maintenance teams.
Support equipment validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and requalification after changes or upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
6 + years of hands-on experience in automated assembly line operations in automotive/electronics/industrial manufacturing.
