Position description / Job description- Provide direct care and support to mothers and newborns in a maternity home setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and changing.
- Monitor vital signs and report any concerns to nursing staff.
- Educate new mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Document patient observations and interventions accurately.
- We're looking for you, if:
- You hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B-Pharma) qualification.
- You possess 2 to 6 years of experience in a relevant healthcare or pharmaceutical support role.
- You have proficiency in medical terminology and procedures related to maternal and infant care.
- You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport.
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- You approach patient care with a proactive and compassionate attitude.
- You have knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines.
