Operator/Maintenence (Operator) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy-duty vehicles used to transport materials such as soil, gravel, rock, or ore. This role is essential for construction, mining, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities - Machine Operation: Maneuver heavy dumpers and articulated trucks across diverse terrains, including slopes and confined sites.- Material Transport: Coordinate with excavator and loader operators to receive and transport materials to designated areas.- Safe Discharge: Operate hydraulic hoist controls to discharge loads while ensuring vehicle stability.- Pre-Operational Checks: Inspect engine oil, fluids, tire pressure, hydraulics, and braking systems daily.- Site Safety: Adhere to traffic patterns and speed limits while identifying site hazards.- Maintenance & Logging: Perform basic preventative maintenance and maintain accurate material and engine logs.
