• Should have leadership qualities to support below-level workmen.
• Should have a good relationship with other departments.
• Should have good knowledge in documentation guidance for QMS, EMS, and OSHAS.
• Awareness of safety precautions while working on mechanical works.
• Should follow up on the logbook records, like oil consumption, daily work details, and spare usage.
• Should have leadership qualities to lead the team and manage the work.
• Able to identify the bearings, seals, belts, bolts and mechanical spares.
• Knowledge in breakdown in utilities.
• Should be aware of the criticalness of machinery.
• Should have to share the knowledge of work with technicians and below workers
• Knowledge of the root cause analysis, why-why analysis.
• Should be implementing Kaizen and horizontal deployment.
