Position : Mechanical EngineerJob location : Coimbatore Responsibilities : 1. Study and understand the pressure vessel scope of work and quickly become conversant to procedures and standards.2. Prepares Pressure Vessel Design Basis, Data sheet and Mechanical calculations based on applicable Codes and client specifications including agreed exceptions.3. Review sub-supplier calculations and drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications or applicable standards as required.4. Provide necessary dimensional sketches, preliminary vessel weights and engineering instructions to the designing team, as required to identify locations of nozzles, supports and other vessel attachments.5. Assist in providing necessary design information to Project/Client/Third Party, as required6. Prove mechanical design of pressure vessel internals, trays, baffles and distribution piping supports when required.7. Participate in 3D model review as required, ability to read P&IDs.8. Assist in developing Pressure Vessel Specifications and Standards for products.9. Knowledge on pump selection, performance curves review10. Assigned tasks should be executed with minimum supervision.11. Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.12. Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the Company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.13. Basic knowledge on Manual valves such as butterfly, Gate, globe, check is added advantage
