Position description / Job description- Prepare patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate MRI equipment, adjusting parameters as needed to obtain high-quality images.
- Perform routine quality control checks on the equipment.
- Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the MRI equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to MRI operation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI technician.
- Proficiency in operating various MRI equipment and software.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to MRI imaging.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
