3. Third-Party & Customer Handling
Liaise with Third-Party Inspectors (TPI) and clients for inspections and approvals.
Address customer quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Quality Reports.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain quality records (Weld Maps, NDT Reports, Mill Certificates, etc.).
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and implement corrective actions.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify quality deviations and recommend process improvements.
Train production teams on welding best practices and quality standards.
Required Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in PEB/Steel Fabrication Quality Control.
Certifications: AWS CWI/CSWIP, NDT Level II (UT, RT, MT, PT), ISO 9001 Auditor (preferred).
Strong knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME), NDT methods, and steel structures.
