Role Description
· Lead the piping design team for oil and gas EPC projects, responsible for designing and developing piping systems using 3D modelling software.
· Develop and review project plans, schedules, and budgets.
· Develop Plot Plan and Equipment Layout.
· Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and identify project requirements.
· Design and develop piping systems using 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS). Model Review and Tag closure with the customers.
· Create and manage 3D models, including piping layouts, pipe sizing, and valve and fitting selection.
· Perform piping stress analysis and support design using software like CEASAR-II. Generation of Loading Data for Civil/Structural disciplines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process, mechanical, civil, structural and E&I disciplines.
· Manage and review design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material procurement and construction.
· Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API)
· Review of P&ID’s.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
· Minimum 20+ years of experience in piping design for oil and gas EPC projects.
· Strong knowledge of piping systems, industry standards, and regulations.
· Advanced skills in 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS).
· Experience with piping stress analysis and support design software.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
