Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations Management:
 Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce
cycle times, and minimize scrap rates.
 Plan and execute capacity enhancements to meet forecasted demand and business
growth objectives.
2. Technical Expertise:
 Oversee the operation of injection moulding machines, ensuring optimal parameters for
precision and quality.
 Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to mould design, material selection, and
machine performance.
 Drive innovations in moulding processes, including automation, robotics, and advanced
materials.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
 Build and lead a technically skilled team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.
 Provide technical training to enhance team expertise in moulding operations and
maintenance.
 Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
4. Maintenance and Asset Management:
 Develop predictive and preventive maintenance schedules for moulding equipment to
maximize uptime.
 Manage tooling lifecycle, including design reviews, modifications, and procurement of
new moulds.
5. Compliance and Safety:

 Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to health, safety, and
environmental standards.
 Promote a safety-first culture by conducting risk assessments and implementing best
practices.
6. Budget and Cost Control:
 Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
 Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.

Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Technology, or a
related technical field.
Experience:
 10+ years of experience in injection moulding or plastic processing, with at least 5 years
in a senior management role.
 Proven expertise in handling high-volume, precision manufacturing environments.
 Experience in handling more than 50 Molding machines.
Technical Skills:
 Deep knowledge of injection moulding machines (like Engel, etc.) and auxiliary
equipment.
 Expertise in mould flow analysis, mould design principles, and polymer materials
science.
 Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as Industry 4.0, IoT, and
data analytics in production.
Strategic Skills:
 Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and production scheduling.
 Ability to align plant operations with organizational goals and market trends.
 Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems, production planning tools, and data-driven decision-
making.
Soft Skills:
 Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.
