Job Details:  Title: Hardware Test Engineer EducaƟonal QualificaƟons: B.E. / B Tech /M Tech with Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation. Experience: Minimum 4-9 years of experience in Electronics Hardware development/TesƟng in the automoƟve industry Location: Bengaluru India Technical Center Job Purpose:  As an experienced Hardware Test engineer, you will be involved in the verificaƟon and qualificaƟon of Power Electronics Hardware for High voltage Electronic Turbochargers and Electronic Boosters  Will be part of a mulƟ-cultural, mulƟ-disciplined product development and tesƟng teams working on projects involving mulƟple locaƟons. Key Responsibilities: Review the technical requirements of the Electronics Hardware assembly and esƟmate the effort involved for Hardware tesƟng and align the same with the Lead and stakeholders. Performing circuit design analysis, and tesƟng/validaƟon of Hardware circuits for funcƟonality and performance under varying condiƟons, create the test cases based on the Hardware requirements/Circuit design and execute the same on the board in the test bench. Execute tesƟng & debugging of complex power electronics, PCB level tesƟng and diagnose circuit board failures in a high voltage or low voltage environment based on the scope of test. DocumentaƟon of test results within the V-process / AutomoƟve SPICE framework Perform peer reviews of test specificaƟon and test reports. TroubleshooƟng failures during tests, perform cause analysis, and provide reports to key stakeholders and cross funcƟonal teams. Seƫng up and maintaining project-specific test benches including Hardware equipment test tools and electronic components required. Work Experience/Skills: Exemplary experience and knowledge in the verificaƟon of Power Electronics Hardware in the automoƟve sector. Very good knowledge in power-electronic theories, circuit design, and measurement techniques. Experience with tesƟng of mixed signals electronics designs, power switching circuits in AutomoƟve Embedded Power Electronics Hardware. Hands-on experience in tesƟng & debugging complex power electronics, PCB level tesƟng and diagnosis of circuit board failures. Strong abiliƟes to Interpret schemaƟcs/requirements/data sheets, comprehend PCB layout of inverter stages, transceivers, microcontrollers, power modules (with IGBT, MOSFET etc), Pre-drivers etc. and interpret the design calculaƟons and applying various tesƟng methodologies. Strong knowledge of Electronics tesƟng tools such as FuncƟon/ signal generators, Oscilloscope, Climate chamber, power supplies. Familiarity with AlƟum and SimulaƟon tools with be desirable. Good Experience working in a High Voltage lab environment & handling high voltage instruments, board tesƟng, board bring up, DUTs in climaƟc chamber & know-how of using Vector CAN tools like CANape, CANOe will be advantage. Good knowledge of converter/inverter topologies (AC-DC, DC-DC, motor controls). Very good working Knowledge on requirement, change & defect management tools like Polarion, JIRA, Knowledge of accompanying quality assurance measures (reviews, AutomoƟve SPICE, ...) Familiarity with compliance and safety standards (like IEC, AIS, ISO) Possesses sharp analyƟcal skills, excellent problem-solving abiliƟes, and meƟculous aƩenƟon, Good verbal and wriƩen communicaƟon skills.<h3>experience</h3>9
