Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily primary packing activities.
- Ensure correct packing materials are used as per approved specifications.
- Verify item code, quantity, MRP labels, and packing instructions before packing.
- Ensure proper application of labels, coupons, barcodes, and identification tags.
- Monitor packing quality and prevent packing errors, shortages, and mix-ups.
- Ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance during packing operations.
- Coordinate with Receiving, Inventory, Quality, Putaway and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor packing material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Ensure transparent pouches, polybags, cartons, and other packaging materials are used as per SOP.
- Maintain packing productivity and manpower utilization.
- Conduct line clearance before starting new items.
- Ensure 5S, housekeeping, and safety compliance in the packing area.
- Train operators on packing standards and quality requirements.
- Investigate packing-related customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare daily reports on packing output, pendency, quality issues, and manpower utilization.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidate preferred from same profile.
- 3-6 years of experience in primary packing operation.
- Minimum 2-3 years of team-handling experience preferred.
