Role: Manager Procurement
Location: Nandesari, Vadodara
Reporting to: Head Procurement / Supply Chain Head
Roles and Responsibilities
- Raw Material Procurement
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packing materials and other production-related materials.
- Prepare procurement plans based on production requirements, inventory levels, consumption patterns and business forecasts.
- Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders to avoid production interruptions.
- Monitor RM stock levels, open POs, pending deliveries and material availability.
- Develop and maintain alternate sources for critical and strategic raw materials.
- Conduct market analysis, price benchmarking and cost negotiations with suppliers.
- Track commodity/market price movements and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Negotiate commercial terms including price, payment terms, delivery schedule, MOQ, freight, taxes and other commercial conditions.
- Ensure adherence to approved procurement policies, authorization matrix and delegation of authority.
