Job Title / Position: Procurement NetworkingRole:To coordinate with all internal stake holder such as project coordinator / project director / project manager / operation head / facility incharge / external stake holder such as vendor / contractor / architect / consultant and ensure that the right material is procured without compromising the specification / data and material delivered as per project requirement / facility requirement and supports are provided to the end user in terms of follow up on material / service after sales support within the agreed parameters without any compromise on quality , timely delivery and ensure project is completed within the budgeted value or with the savings. Responsibilities: Ensuring the final documents are handed over / warranty – guarantee is provided after sales and inspection / checking of eqiupments is being provided as per agreed conditions Handling and giving training to stake holders to maintain the facility and ensuring regular preventive maintenance is all done as per schedule / which requires AMC sign ups etc. maintaining and upkeep of all kinds of records pertaining to the project which includes all drawings/ GFC / AS built / networking architectural drawing / agreement / AMC etc. in addition to snag list closure before the project being handed over to operation . Having hands on experience on procurement of networking items both active and passive and have a real good track record and aware of the current market trends and the latest technology on servers , components , network accessories etc. Coordinate with the senior leadership team and the end user in the campus / facility and leadership for betterment of services for the facility at any given point of time and give valuable suggestion for improvement of the facility. working as a team member and motivating the team working in facility and shall be role model for the juniors. Effective communication is a key requirement of the role without any ambiguity. Managing multiple projects within or outside SRM campus and have a scientific way and effective way of addressing the concerns of the project on war footing basis in discussion with CIDO ( Chief Infrastructure Development Officer ) and architect / consultant with a proper escalation matrix to address any kind of problem and reporting the same to CIDO on weekly basis through Procurement Head. Internal Interface – University Leadership and Direct and Indirect Reporting Employees External Interface – Vendors, Contractors & other External Stakeholders. Candidates can be with minimum 12 + years of experience in Project Management and procurement with specialisation in networking . Qualification : Engineering gradute with Electrical / mechanical / electronics / either male / female candidate who has aptitude for learning, flexible and enthu shall be given preference.
