1. Production Planning & Operations Excellence ...
o Design and oversee production strategies to ensure optimum extraction, blending, and
dispatch of ore.
o Develop mine plans aligned with business targets, ensuring adherence to statutory normsand environmental clearances.
o Identify bottlenecks in mining operations and suggest data-driven solutions for improving
productivity.2. Process Optimization & Technology Enablement
o Implement Lean Six Sigma / TPM practices for cost reduction and efficiency
enhancement.
o Drive adoption of digital mining technologies (Mine Planning Software, Dispatch
Systems, Drone Mapping, etc.) to improve decision-making.
o Benchmark production practices with global mining standards.
3. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Compliance
o Monitor adherence to DGMS guidelines, safety management systems, and sustainable mining practices.
o Conduct safety audits and recommend improvements to achieve “Zero Harm” workplace culture.4. Strategic Advisory & Stakeholder Management
o Provide strategic inputs for capacity expansion, mine development projects, and resource planning.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Geology, Survey, Finance, Marketing) to ensure seamless operations.o Support management in long-term business planning, productivity forecasting, and supply chain optimization.5. People Development & Knowledge Transfer
o Mentor young engineers on best practices in mine production, planning, and sustainability.
o Develop training modules for workforce upskilling in line with industry 4.0 practices in mining.
o Act as a bridge between consultants and internal teams for smooth implementation of change initiatives.6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
o Establish KPIs for production efficiency, recovery, cost per tonne, and safety performance.
