Key Responsibilities Machine Operation & Monitoring: Monitor automated production
machinery, ensuring it runs according to specifications.
Primary goal is to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and
ensure the quality of the final product
Process Optimization: Continuously analyze production data to identify
...
areas for improvement. Implement changes to machine settings or
workflows to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product
quality. Production Compliance: Ensure all production activities adhere strictly to
established procedures, standards, and regulations.
Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with the Quality Control
department to define, implement, and maintain stringent quality standards
throughout the production process.
Strategic Production Management: Develop and execute effective production
strategies aimed at maximizing efficiency, streamlining workflows, and reducing
operational costs.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the PPC department to ensure
timely dispatch of finished goods.
Minimizing Losses: Control process rejections and man-hour losses,
maintaining rejection levels below defined targets. Continuous Improvement: Drive methodologies such as SGIA, Poka-Yoke,
Autonomous Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, OEE improvement, 5S/2S,
Visual Workplace Management, and Kanban (pull system) for operational
excellence. Policy & Safety Adherence: Ensure team compliance with company policies,
safety regulations, and SOPs for a safe work environment.
Automation: Take ownership of WDS automation to optimize output and
improve manpower efficiency.
Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust systems for RM, WIP,
and FG inventory, ensuring optimization and minimal waste.
ISO Compliance: Lead the team to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO
45001 standards. Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical
Engineering (preferred). Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in light
engineering/manufacturing industry & having hand on exp in handling automation
(specifically WDS automation) Industry Preference: Switchgear / Automobile.
