Candidate should also be well conversant with Project Planning Tools like Primavera & MS Projects. Direct To: Engineering Lead Assigned Engineers (LAEs), Project Control Manager, Engineering Manager/Coordinator, Project Interface Coordinator, Project Engineer, Project Module Owners and Project Document Controllers, PrimaryResponsibilities: PM will be fully authorized to act as a representative of CONTRACTOR in all phases of the Project and thus, will remain a single contact point for Contractor for all important communication. PM will be responsible for the performance of all phases of the project for the Contractor. The roles of PM will include coordination with Project Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Leads, and Interface Co-coordinator. Under the direction of the PM, project staff will work for the execution of the Detailed Engineering. Responsible for all aspects of Project execution. Establishes policies and the basic plan for design/engineering and project control in line with major project policies. Reports the project status, including progress and performance, on design / engineering, project control and quality control to Senior Management of Engineering Subcontractor. Directs the planning and development of the project scope, procedures, budget and overall schedule. Reviews and approves the work procedures prepared for design / Arrange / attend inter-departmental meetings (weekly), meetings with client, meetings with vendors, site meetings and take appropriate action. Prepare Project Master schedule and advise for preparing L3 and L4 schedules Prepare and monitor department-wise pending point list on weekly basis for controlling design inputs and monitor overall project schedule. Preparation of Billing Schedules & invoicing to Client. Prepare project budget, project cash flow and update periodically for effective cost control. Assess the effects on cost, schedule and man-hours prior to issue of Engineering Revision Instruction (ERI) depending upon the status of work affected by ERI. Maintain ERI records and all related documents based on which a decision regarding design change is taken Issue Change Notices; prepare Change Proposals and Finalize Change Orders with Client. Maintain change log status. Identify / tabulate extra claim items and issue invoices for extra claims, follow up with customer for the settlement and payment. To review Enquiry, General Terms & Conditions (GTC), Standard Terms & Conditions (STC), Bid Evaluations for Requisitions / Contract / Subcontract and approve the recommended vendor / Contractor / Subcontractor. Participate in all technical & commercial Negotiations. Monitor vendor documents submission / approval for each requisition and maintain updated status of VDR. Review and finalization of extra claims received from Vendors and Subcontractors. Coordination with Yard team / Fabricators regarding Yard matters. Support construction/yard team for timely mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning and obtaining Engineering/mechanical completion certificate and acceptance from the customer Keeping records of Owner delayed inputs, Documents related to Force Majeure and keeping track of Completion activities which are specifically required to be completed before receiving Owner's Inputs, etc. Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) request and take up with Client for finalization
