Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement: Develop procurement strategies specific to car parking systems — including mechanical components, electrical systems, control units, and fabricated structures. Vendor Development & Management: Identify and qualify suppliers for specialized components such as motors, PLCs, structural steel, lift systems, etc. Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Negotiation & Cost Control: Lead pricing negotiations and secure favourable payment terms. Continuously identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality. Inventory & Lead Time Management: Coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure material availability in line with project schedules, reducing lead times and avoiding delays. Quality & Compliance: Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure supplier compliance with technical specifications and certifications (ISO, CE, etc.). Contract Management: Draft and manage contracts, ensuring clarity in delivery schedules, penalties, and performance clauses. Team Leadership: Lead a team of buyers and procurement executives. Drive accountability, process discipline, and performance tracking. ERP & Reporting: Use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for order tracking, inventory control, and supplier performance monitoring.
