- Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control function across manufacturing operations

2. Incoming Quality Control (IQC) & Supplier Quality- Lead incoming inspection systems for raw materials, bought-out components, refrigeration parts, electrical assemblies, and plastics
- Develop vendor quality standards, inspection procedures, and supplier quality systems
- Conduct supplier audits and drive vendor quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure structured rejection handling, CAPA, and supplier corrective action tracking
3. Line Quality & Process Quality- Establish strong in-process quality systems across sheet metal fabrication, injection moulding, powder coating, and appliance assembly
- Drive process discipline, process capability improvement, and quality-at-source initiatives
- Implement SOPs, control plans, process checkpoints, and traceability systems
- Drive reduction in line rejections, rework, process deviations, and assembly defects
- Implement poka-yoke and process error-proofing systems
4. PDI, Finished Goods & Customer Quality- Lead Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) and Finished Goods inspection systems
- Ensure outgoing products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards
- Drive reduction in field failures, warranty claims, and customer complaints
- Lead field failure analysis and product reliability improvement initiatives
- Ensure final quality documentation and product traceability systems
5. Quality Systems, Documentation & Compliance- Develop and maintain SOPs, inspection standards, quality manuals, and audit systems
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BIS, and internal quality standards
- Lead internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and compliance reviews
- Maintain calibration systems, NCR records, CAPA tracking, and audit readiness
- Drive documentation discipline across departments
6. Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement- Lead RCA, CAPA, and preventive quality initiatives across plant operations
- Implement quality tools such as 7QC, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, and control charts
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives
- Improve First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce COPQ, and improve process capability
- Support new product development and pilot quality validation
7. Cross-functional Manufacturing Integration- Coordinate closely with Production, R&D, SCM, Vendor Development, and Service teams
- Drive Design for Quality (DFQ) and process standardization
- Support product industrialization and manufacturing readiness
- Ensure smooth quality integration during new product launches
8. Team Leadership & Quality Culture- Build and lead a high-performance quality team
- Drive quality ownership and accountability across departments
- Train teams on process quality, inspection systems, and manufacturing discipline
- Build a strong zero-defect and customer-focused culture
- Maintain high visibility and involvement on shop floor operations
Desired Candidate Profile- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- 12–15+ years of experience in manufacturing quality leadership roles
- Strong experience in sheet metal, injection moulding, appliance assembly, and refrigeration products
- Experience in consumer appliances, electrical products, water dispensers, vending machines, or related industries preferred
- Hands-on exposure to IQC, IPQC, line quality, PDI, finished goods quality, and supplier quality systems
Technical Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing quality systems
- Hands-on expertise in RCA, CAPA, 7QC Tools, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong process and systems orientation
- Experience in vendor quality management and supplier audits
- Strong understanding of appliance manufacturing quality processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability
