About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship & Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) vertical. The role involves acquiring corporate anchors, channel partners, distributors, vendors, and enterprise clients while building long-term relationships with ecosystem stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have experience in Supply Chain Finance, Vendor Finance, Dealer Finance, Invoice Discounting, Working Capital Lending, or SME Lending within an NBFC, Bank, or Fintech.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and onboard new corporate anchors across manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, retail, logistics, automotive, and other sectors.
- Source Supply Chain Finance opportunities including:
- Vendor Finance
- Dealer/Distributor Finance
- Invoice Discounting
- Channel Finance
- Generate business through direct corporate outreach, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Build relationships with CFOs, Treasury Heads, Procurement Teams, Finance Controllers, and business owners.
- Meet monthly and quarterly disbursement and revenue targets.
Relationship Management
- Manage existing anchor relationships to increase utilization and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely resolution of operational issues.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with anchors and channel partners.
- Build long-term relationships with distributors, vendors, dealers, and borrowers.
Credit & Transaction Coordination
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams for smooth onboarding.
- Collect financial documents, KYC, GST, bank statements, and other required information.
- Assist in structuring financing programs based on customer requirements.
- Support the credit team during due diligence.
Market Development
- Identify new industries and supply chain ecosystems for expansion.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings.
- Participate in industry events, trade associations, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Develop referral networks with Chartered Accountants, consultants, distributors, and financial intermediaries.
Portfolio Management
- Monitor portfolio health and utilization.
- Ensure timely renewals and limit enhancements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts with internal teams.
- Maintain strong portfolio quality while achieving growth targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Management, or Economics.
