Job Summary Primary Responsibilities: Leads/Manages DWP Messaging vertical with 12+ yrs of experience ensuring professionalism and responsiveness, and that the right skillsets are in place. Identify areas of focus and techniques to improve service quality and reduce the overall number of tickets. Identify opportunities to optimize & automate environment. Establish strong working relationships across the business and within IT. Help the other IT teams identify opportunities to improve their service and reliability of systems. Establish and document policies and procedures relevant to the function. This Person will be responsible for leading/managing the Intune vertical. Key responsibilities and expectations for the position, which include: - Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. - System Administration: Administer and maintain messaging systems, including Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, and collaboration tools. - Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex messaging issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions. - Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, configure role-based access control, and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate messaging solutions with other enterprise applications and services. Required Qualifications: - Experience: 12+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Exchange environments or similar messaging platforms. - Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Exchange architecture, Active Directory, DNS, and network protocols. - Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management. - Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. - Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud-based messaging solutions, such as Microsoft 365 or Office 365. - Security Knowledge: Familiarity with email security technologies, including anti-spam and anti-malware systems.¹
