ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & Compliance Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled reporting outputs (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Prepare and validate financial statements, perform variance analysis, and provide commentary.
- Support BPC submissions across multiple entities; ensure mapping accuracy and perform data tie-outs.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and comply with internal controls and SOPs.
- Compile and reconcile inventory and costing reports using SAP; perform freight accruals, GR/IR reviews, and stock movement analysis.
- Prepare overhead/cost Centre reporting and plant-level analytics to support transparency.
- Refresh FP&A packs, AR reports, and sales variance reporting; collaborate with FP&A and commercial teams for accuracy.
- Prepare VAT/ECSL and other compliance schedules; support withholding tax calculations and audit requirements.
Customer Service:
- Handle reporting queries from markets and corporate teams as the first point of contact.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to stakeholder questions.
- Collaborate with General Ledger, Intercompany, Fixed Asset, Treasury, and Business teams to resolve issues.
- Support resolution of data integrity, reporting timeline, and compliance-related matters.
- Assist stakeholders with queries on financial statements, consolidation entries, adjustments, and reporting requirements
- Communicate proactively to maintain stakeholder confidence and satisfaction.
Internal Process:
- Follow standardized reporting processes and support automation initiatives to reduce manual errors.
- Maintain and update SOPs for assigned reporting activities.
- Track KPIs and SLAs for reporting tasks and share updates with the team lead.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and audit requirements in daily activities.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to team learning.
Innovations and Learning:
- Suggest ideas for process improvements and efficiency gains in reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities to use automation or digital tools in routine tasks.
- Take part in knowledge-sharing sessions and apply lessons learned to daily work.
- Continuously build skills and stay updated on reporting tools and best practices.
Team Work and Communication:
- Display good team player skills
- Responsible for own learning and development with guidance from Team Lead / Tower Lead
- Ensure a 'customer centric' and 'partnership approach' to develop strong relationships with other working groups
- Effective communication of issues across the GCC and working groups
