Data collection and management
Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources (Manual trackers, Sales & Marketing Teams) into standardized templates or databases.
Maintain master data for counters, products, geos, sales hierarchies, targets, incentives, etc and ensure consistency across reports.

Validate, clean, and reconcile data (missing values, duplicates, mismatches with marketing & sales) to ensure high data accuracy and integrity.
Sales MIS reporting and dashboards
Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS: volume, value, productivity, pipeline, funnel, conversion, and coverage metrics.
Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., in Excel, Power BI OR Tableau) with drill-downs by region, channel, account, and product for leadership and field managers.
Calendarize report publishing frequency ensuring the right report at the right time at all stakeholder levels.
Performance analysis and callouts
Analyze trends, variances, and patterns in sales KPIs to identify growth drivers, leakages, and risk areas.
Create ad-hoc reports and summarize key callouts for business reviews (e.g., campaign effectiveness, incentive impact, new product performance, productivity by role) as requested by client.
Sales forecasting and planning support
Support sales forecasting by reviewing historical trends, seasonality, pipeline data, and market inputs.
Prepare planning files for annual/quarterly targets: region-wise, channel-wise, and product-wise, ensuring alignment with client.
Track performance vs target at multiple cuts (MTD, QTD, YTD) and flag shortfalls early with quantified gaps.
Process automation and enhancement
Identify repetitive manual reporting tasks and work with the tech team to automate data pulls and dashboards.
Support implementation and enhancement of sales tools (SFA, reporting portal) by defining reporting requirements.
Document reporting processes, data definitions, and calculation logic to ensure transparency and continuity.
Stakeholder management
Act as primary contact for the sales team, regional managers, and program SPOCs at client end for all MIS and analysis requirements.
Understand on-ground sales processes and incentive schemes to design relevant, easy-to-consume reports for different stakeholder levels.
Conduct brief walkthroughs / trainings for sales users on how to read dashboards and interpret KPIs.
Governance and compliance
Ensure all reports follow defined governance: locked templates, approved KPI metrics and data sources.
Maintain trails of data changes and report versions based on MIS.
Safeguard data privacy and confidentiality, especially for counters, pricing, and incentive information as per company policy.
