- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of total experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Proven ability to connect technical solutions with business objectives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Required Technical Skills
- Core Stack: Python, SQL, AWS (Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda), Snowflake
- ETL Tools: Airflow or similar orchestration frameworks
- Data Modeling & Warehousing: Star/Snowflake schema, dimensional modeling
- Visualization Exposure: Power BI / Tableau (integration-level understanding)
- Version Control & CI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins or equivalent
- Bonus: Familiarity with APIs, real-time data streaming, and ML model integration
