Job Description – Team member Engineering
B.E Mechanical with Minimum 10 years of experience in Auto Component manufacturing preferably from reputed Cold forging cum IATF certified Industry with the following knowledge:
1. Feasibility study of New RFQ’s from the customer and cost working based on estimation of mass, cycle time and machine hour rate.
2. Preparing Risk analysis for new projects and mitigation plans for risks.
3. Study the customer drawing with reference to engineering standards and concepts (GD&T).
4. Hands-on experience in APQP methodology of NPD, Lead the projects as per APQP timing plan and Prepare corrective actions reports for pre production quality issues or customer concerns.
5. Design the process sequence for new products by Cold forging, Machining and other processes as per customer requirement. Adept in design of cold forging tools using any 3D modeling software / AutoCAD.
6. Knowledge of material and their properties related to formability and metallurgy.
7. Support purchase for new supplier assessment audits, periodic assessment of supplier through process and system audits for improvements according to company and IATF requirements.
8. Planning and executing the installation of new machinery and parts in line as per plan.
9. Hand's on experience in preparing PPAP including FMEA, Control plan, SPC & MSA for new products.
10. Work towards continual improvement in the production process
11. Planning for Gauges and instruments required for NPD products.
12. Sound knowledge in Shop floor control & problem solving, Cutting Tools selection and prove-out, Fixture design and prove-out, Machine layout planning
