Position overviewWe are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Specialist with HubSpot Automation expertise to own, architect, and optimize our HubSpot ecosystem. With 5+ years of deep domain experience, you aren't just someone who builds workflows; you are a solution architect who understands how data flows between marketing, sales, and customer success.
In this role, you will lead the technical strategy for lead scoring, lifecycle stage management, advanced behavioral triggering, and multi-channel campaign execution. You will be the bridge between growth strategies and technical execution, ensuring our HubSpot instance operates as a seamless, scalable revenue engine.
Key responsibilities
HubSpot workflow management : Build, QA, update and maintain automated email workflows in HubSpot to support lead nurturing, candidate engagement, client journeys, redeployment activity, reactivation, content download nurture, form submission routing, internal lead notifications and sales handover processes across Australia & New Zealand markets.
Campaign coordination : Execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including template creation, content population, list segmentation, form creation, property alignment, personalisation setup, approval management, scheduling and deployment, ensuring high deliverability, data accuracy and brand alignment.
A/B testing & analysis : Support Austin and Alex with A/B test setup, QA and performance analysis across email subject lines, copy, CTAs, templates and landing pages, helping identify optimisation opportunities to improve engagement, conversion rates and campaign ROI.
Funnel optimization : Analyse user journeys across EDM, landing pages, forms and HubSpot workflows to identify drop-off points, data gaps, audience segmentation issues and conversion bottlenecks. Support optimisation actions such as journey logic refinement, CTA placement review, form field improvements and lead handover checks to improve candidate applications, client enquiries and overall campaign performance.
Performance tracking : Monitor and report on key EDM and automation performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, form submissions, unsubscribe rates, bounce rates and workflow engagement. Prepare clear performance summaries and actionable insights to support optimisation decisions for the Paid Performance Lead.
Stakeholder collaboration : Provide technical HubSpot expertise, marketing automation support and ecommerce best-practice guidance across EDM, lead nurturing, reactivation, redeployment and campaign optimisation activities, helping support performance goals and the broader Australia & New Zealand marketing strategy.
Onshore/offshore coordination : Ensure seamless delivery of tasks from the India GCC, maintaining clear ownership, high quality-control standards, timely execution and smooth handover with Australia & New Zealand stakeholders.
What we are looking for (requirements)Education: A bachelor's degree
The 5-Year sweet spot: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically administering and scaling HubSpot
Technical chops: Proven experience handling advanced data mapping, API integrations, and troubleshooting webhook failures. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email/landing page troubleshooting is expected.
The "Why" behind the "How": You don't just build what you're asked; you challenge the status quo if a workflow can be streamlined or if data structures can be cleaner.
Certifications: Active HubSpot certifications (HubSpot Marketing Software, Revenue Operations, or HubSpot Architecture) are highly preferred.
Analytical mindset: Expert-level capability in Excel/Google Sheets and advanced HubSpot reporting features.
What will make you stand out (The "X-Factor")You have experience writing custom code actions inside HubSpot workflows (JavaScript/Node.js).
You’ve successfully migrated a company into HubSpot from Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua.
You treat CRM data like a product, ensuring your internal stakeholders (Sales & Marketing leaders) have flawless UX and reporting.
