Job Title: Expert – Marketing Intelligence and Research (German Staffing Industry)
Position OverviewWe are seeking an analytical, strategic, and data-driven Marketing Intelligence and Research Expert to join our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad. In this specialized role, you will serve as the core intelligence engine driving our business growth within the German Staffing and Recruitment Industry (Personaldienstleistung).
Your primary mission is to transform raw market data into actionable business insights, predictive forecasts, and highly detailed client dossiers. You will conduct deep-dive research on potential corporate clients, map decision-makers, model market share, and forecast industry growth—directly equipping our Germany-based sales representatives with the tactical intelligence required to win high-value accounts.
Key Responsibilities1. Market Forecasting & Industry ResearchMarket Growth Forecasting: Build, maintain, and update predictive models to forecast growth trends within the German staffing and temporary labor market, leveraging economic indicators, labor shifts, and macroeconomic data.
Market Share & White Space Analysis: Model and calculate current and potential market share across various German regions and industry verticals (e.g., engineering, healthcare, commercial staffing). Identify untapped, high-growth segments.
Macro Trend Tracking: Monitor regulatory changes (such as the Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz - AÜG), labor laws, and economic data impacting the DACH region.
Competitor Intelligence: Conduct regular benchmarking and track competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and positioning, utilizing industry standard metrics and resources like the annual Lünendonk-Liste rankings.
Developing & Maintaining: Create and update internal tools powered by diverse data streams, comparing official statistics and internal data.
2. Client Intelligence & Account ProfilingDeep-Dive Dossiers: Generate comprehensive profiles on high-potential target companies in Germany, detailing their current staffing needs, organizational structures, financial health, and strategic pain points.
Buying Center Mapping: Research, identify, and map key decision-makers and influencers (e.g., C-level executives, HR Directors, Procurement Leads) within target organizations.
Pre-Sales Enablement: Provide sales reps with highly tailored briefing documents ("cheat sheets") ahead of critical client pitches to ensure high-relevance conversations and higher conversion rates.
3. Data Hygiene & ReportingPipeline Optimization: Discover and validate high-quality prospective leads, ensuring clean, accurate firmographic and contact data is fed into our CRM system.
Insight Delivery: Package highly complex quantitative and qualitative research into clear, scannable executive summaries, dashboards, and reports for global leadership.
Required Profile & Qualifications
Must-Haves (Critical Skills)Work Experience: 4–7 years of dedicated experience in B2B Market Research, Corporate Intelligence, Commercial Excellence, or Strategy/Knowledge Management roles.
Domain Knowledge: Proven familiarity with the Staffing, Recruitment, temporary labor, or Corporate Professional Services landscape.
Language Skills: * Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Data Experience: Deep expertise in processing, cleaning, and harmonizing internal and external data from diverse sources and formats.
Experienced in utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the associated knowledge regarding the visualization and processing of geodata.
Utilize AI prompt engineering to develop web analysis tools, including an automated location crawler for website data extraction.
Data & Forecasting Toolkit: Proven ability to build trend-forecasting and market-share models. Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, alongside data visualization tools like DataStudio or Looker.
Soft SkillsAnalytical Mindset: A strong ability to connect disparate data points to uncover hidden business opportunities.
Scannable Writing Style: Ability to synthesize hours of data and complex research into a crisp, 1-page summary that a busy sales executive can digest in 5 minutes.
Cross-Border Collaboration: High cultural awareness and comfort collaborating daily with a remote onshore sales frontline based in Germany.
