Essential Job Functions
Documentation/Technology - Assist in the development of standards, policies, and procedures. Assists in the annual audit processes as needed in support of the senior associates. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to gain the greatest efficiencies.
Quality Assurance - Follows and contributes to all the QA processes defined and analyzes network infrastructure components for effective performance, cost effectiveness and availability.
Process and Project Management - Contributes to network projects related to technology pilots, conversions, implementations, etc. Supports medium to large projects based on project management experience and competencies. Sustain the necessary data throughput rate by analyzing networking activity and maintaining existing equipment.
Relationship Management - Provides 24x7 on-call support in troubleshooting, coordinating, escalating to ensure the recovery of failed components or equipment. Establishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors of IT&O products, professional organizations, contract employees, external auditors, and consultants. Responds to network connectivity issues and works to resolve any wireless communication issues within the confines of the office.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Years of Work Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
- Type / focus of work experience required: Network Engineer on Enterprise Class Network
- Experience with projects adopting Iterative/Agile/Water fall methodologies and proficiency with its practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Years of Work Experience Preferred: 3 to 5
- Type / focus of work experience Preferred: Complex Network / Firewall Engineering level
- Ability to work with multi location/Global teams.
