Role Description
To assist in timely procurement of materials and services within the defined parameters of time, cost quality and technical specifications as specified by the pertinent internal functions.

Strategy Design and Implementation
► Verification of Indents as per procurement guidelines, delegation of financial power and processing the indents.
► Preparation of RFPs/RFQs/Tender document in close coordination with User Dept.
► Following all guidelines and procedure for procurement and services as per procurement manual.
Procurement and Contracts Management
► Work in close coordination with the user Departments to capture their key expectations from Procurement & Contracts and provide efficient service and support to them.
► Preparation of RFPs/RFQs/Tender documents.
► Processing of bids and preparation of comparative statements.
► Drafting approval notes and issuing purchase orders.
► Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and closure of contracts.
► Proper file management and status management of all bids and tender documents.
► Ensure preparation of a comprehensive database with department wise information about each vendor/ contractor (name of party, category of products/ services supplied, PAN no., price/ quality/ delivery, payment terms and conditions, etc.) and keep it updated based on ongoing performance of the vendors / contractors
► Ensure timely payments to vendors through coordination with the pertinent internal function, finance dept. as per the contract

Key Attributes & Skills:
► Graduate with minimum 4+ years of experience in Procurement and Contracts/ Operations /Supply Chain Management/Vendor management function across Service Industries like Financial services, e-Governance Services, Banking, Consultancy services, IT Companies, e-commerce, Not for Profit Organisations, process & manufacturing industries.
► Understanding of procurement process, preparation of RFX's, evaluations of bids, payment processing, vendor management, Contract Management.
