Guide team of designers on detailing of steel beams, columns and other structures ▪ Detail out various connections used for structural joints- Welded, Bolted, rivetted, moment connection, Shear connection, Splice details etc. ▪ Detailing of Bracing and trusses. ▪ Decide and check height of column based on L/r ratio. ▪ Assess loading on primary member and transfer of load to secondary member and predict structure behaviour. ▪ Provide loading information to Civil foundation generated from STAAD ▪ Review of drawings like frame, pipe racks, standalone pipe supports from structural stability and design point of view. ▪ Participates in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data from suppliers ▪ Provides technical direction and assigns work to engineers, designers, and drafters who assist on specific assignments. ▪ Resolve site/ Shop related issues arising from structural point of view. ▪ Prepare complete documentation of the stress analysis and support design. ▪ Review and interpret the results of structural analysis done by third party and suggest changes if any
