This role requires a strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales strategies, channel management, and distributor relations. The State Head will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets, implementing effective trade promotions, ensuring stock availability, and expanding our distributor network. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and motivating a ground sales team.
- Managing relationships with distributors and retailers, preferably from Fuel Forecourt, Lubricant, and automotive industries.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve annual targets.
- Managing trade promotions to drive sales growth.
- Ensuring consistent stock availability across the distribution network.
- Expanding the distributor network to increase market reach.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Proposing product and solutions that meet customer needs.
- Developing long-term strategic relationships with B2B customers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the chemical industry (lubricant sales, additives sales, B2C, channel sales, and dealer management experience preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
