Key Responsibilities: Cables, Copper commodity, Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding Qualification & Validation:
- Review supplier documentation including test certificates, specifications,and compliance reports.
- Participate in the qualification process for new cable types and alternate cable proposals & copper commodity.
- Validate cables as per industry standards (IEC, UL, VDE, etc.) and internal specifications.
- Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding Qualification & Validation
Supplier Quality Management:
- Conduct supplier audits and process assessments with a focus on electrical commodity
- Support the selection, onboarding, and development of suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and manage improvement plans where necessary.
Technical Support:
- Act as a technical quality interface between internal engineering teams and suppliers. Provide input on drawings, BOM reviews, and specification alignment for cable-related components.
- Work with engineering to support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for field or production issues related to cables.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure supplier documentation is in place (RoHS, REACH, CE declarations, etc.).
- Maintain quality records related to qualifications and supplier approvals.
