Key Responsibilities & Expectations
As a Risk Officer, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Policy & Compliance: Develop and implement industrial relations (IR) policies for the existing & GF supply chain, ensuring strict compliance with labor laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Risk Management: Monitor, identify, and address labor-related risks that could impact supply chain operations ; provide need-based advice and guidance to suppliers regarding IR risks.
Supplier Collaboration: Partner with suppliers to ensure fair labor practices. Conduct monthly monitoring, periodic reviews, and formal monthly meetings to track supplier IR performance.
Training & Development: Organize and drive training sessions focused on labor rights, workplace ethics, and regulatory compliance.
Safety Audits: Study, orchestrate, and drive safety audits alongside continuous improvements across the supply chain.
Data & Reporting: Utilize data analysis and reporting tools (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) to track metrics and present insights to management.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR / IR (Human Resources / Industrial Relations) or a related field.
Industry Background: Relevant experience in the Automobile Industry or Supply Chain/Stakeholder management.
Functional Competencies
Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of both local and international labor laws and regulations.
IR & Conflict Resolution: Proven experience handling labor disputes, negotiations, and disciplinary procedures.
Risk Mitigation: Adept at identifying and mitigating labor-related risks within supply chain operations.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
