<p>ot Peer Reviewed </p><p> </p><p>JOB DESCRIPTION  </p><p>Job Details </p><p>Position Title </p><p>Fabrication Support </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Reporting to </p><p> </p><p>Business Unit  </p><p>Kalwe Steel Plant </p><p>Function </p><p>MBD Project Execution & Planning </p><p>Sub-Function  </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Key Responsibilities </p><p>           •     Assist in the pr</p><p>eparation of the steel requirement chart based on the production plan and </p><p>communicatin</p><p>g with the Purchase department for timely procurement of the required </p><p>materials </p><p>           •     Support the iss</p><p>uance of materials and items to the Fabrication Shop as per the planned </p><p>schedule and e</p><p>nsuring that the required materials are available as per the fabrication </p><p>load chart </p><p>           •     Assist in coord</p><p>inating with the Inspection Department for material clearance by outside </p><p>Inspection Age</p><p>ncies, if required </p><p>           •      Provide suppo</p><p>rt in the preparation of the Fabrication Load Chart and Fabrication Shop </p><p>Plan and ensur</p><p>ing the timely execution of fabrication projects </p><p>           •      Provide suppo</p><p>rt in issuing CNC programs to the MPS section and Steel transfer program-</p><p>cum-pick slip </p><p>with plate layouts to ensure accurate and efficient production </p><p>           •     Assist in issuin</p><p>g Route Cards to the Shop and monitoring compliance with the </p><p>documented Q</p><p>uality System </p><p>           •      Provide suppo</p><p>rt in verifying and controlling the issue of structural steel to Shop & </p><p>Vendors as per</p><p> the list for Sale Order from JDE </p><p>           •     Support the co</p><p>ordination and preparation of documents for the disposal of scrap </p><p>generated regu</p><p>larly </p><p>           •     Assist in prepa</p><p>ring the monthly physical tonnage report and ensuring accurate tracking </p><p>of production </p><p>metrics </p><p>           •      Collaborate wi</p><p>th the Design and QA teams to support compliance with design </p><p>specifications </p><p>and quality standards </p><p>           •      Support in the </p><p>utilization of items from old stock and ensuring the efficient </p><p> </p><p> Key Metrics </p><p>           •      On-time delive</p><p>ry of steel requirement chart and procurement of materials from the </p><p>Purchase depa</p><p>rtment </p><p>           •     Timely issuanc</p><p>e of materials and items to fabrication shop as per the planned schedule </p><p>           •     Compliance wi</p><p>th documented quality system and verification of the issue of structural </p><p>steel to shop & </p><p>vendors as per the list for sale order from J.D.E. </p><p>           •      Timely prepar</p><p>ation of fabrication load chart and fabrication shop plan, CNC programs, </p><p>steel transfer p</p><p>rogram-cum-pick slip, and route cards </p><p>           •     Monthly physic</p><p>al tonnage report preparation and accuracy of production metrics </p><p> </p><p> Knowledge and Skills </p><p> Education </p><p>Qualifications </p><p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field </p><p> Experience </p><p>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setup </p><p> </p><p> </p><h3>experience</h3>10
