Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Illustrator to join our Technical
Publications team. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality, accurate technical illustrations
and diagrams used in manuals, guides, and other technical documents. The role requires proficiency in tools
such as IsoDraw CAD Process and SolidWorks Composer to transform complex engineering data into easy-to-
understand visuals that enhance the overall communication of technical information.
Responsibilities:
• Create accurate and aesthetically correct technical illustrations from engineering drawings and CAD
models using IsoDraw CAD Process and SolidWorks Composer.
• Work closely with engineers, product designers, and technical writers to understand the technical
content and ensure the illustrations align with the documentation standards.
• Generate 2D and 3D visual representations for assembly instructions, operation manuals, maintenance
procedures, and other technical documents.
• Ensure all illustrations comply with industry standards, including ISO, ANSI or specific customer
requirements.
• Update and modify existing illustrations based on product revisions, updates, or customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the Technical Publications team to ensure consistency across all visual materials.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in IsoDraw CAD Process and SolidWorks Composer.
• Experience working with technical drawings, CAD models, and 3D data visualization.
• Strong understanding of technical illustration conventions and standards.
• Experience creating 2D and 3D illustrations for complex mechanical and electrical products.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education:
Graduate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Production/Structural Engineering or equivalent from a
