The Team Lead – Technical Publications is responsible for leading the India (TIRC)
Technical Publications team supporting Genie’s global business. The role owns end-to-end
delivery, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement of technical documentation
including Operator’s Manuals, Service & Repair Manuals, Parts Manuals, Safety Bulletins,
Supplements, Decals, and localized content.
 Key Responsibilities:
1. People Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor Technical Authors, Illustrators, and partner resources at TIRC.
- Own capacity planning, utilization, workload distribution, and delivery commitments.
- Conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, and skill development planning.
2. Technical Publications Delivery
- Own planning and execution of Operator’s Manuals, Service Manuals, Parts Manuals, Safety
Bulletins, and Supplements.
- Support NPD, production support, aftermarket needs, and recertification programs.
3. PLM, ECO & Change Management
- Act as TIRC owner for Technical Publications activities within PLM systems.
- Lead ECO/ECR creation, review, approval, and release.
4. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Genie documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive First-Time-Right (FTR) quality.
5. Localization & Global Market Support
- Own localization execution from India for manuals, decals, and safety communications.
6. Process Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Drive automation, digital documentation, and process optimization initiatives.
7. Stakeholder Management & Global Collaboration
- Act as primary TechPubs interface from TIRC to global stakeholders.
 Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field.
- Proven experience in Technical Publications.
- Experience leading India-based global delivery teams.
