Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to handle diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and maintenance of light and heavy commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with vehicle systems such as engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Conduct engine overhauls, clutch repairs, gearbox service, and brake adjustments
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults
Maintain proper service records and job cards
Follow safety protocols during repair and maintenance activities
Assist with on-road breakdown service when required
Coordinate with service advisors and customers if needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related trade
1–5 years of experience in commercial vehicle servicing
Familiarity with brands such as Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Eicher, etc.
Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle electronics
