1. Customer Service and Guest Relations
Greeting: Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure, often being the first and last point of contact for the establishment (hotel, restaurant, event venue, etc.).
Door and Luggage Assistance: Open vehicle doors and assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other belongings.
Information: Answer guests' questions, provide directions, or offer information about the establishment's amenities or the local area.
Professionalism: Maintain a neat appearance and professional, friendly demeanor at all times.
2. Vehicle Management and Safety
Parking and Retrieval: Safely and efficiently drive, park, and retrieve guests' vehicles in designated parking areas or garages. This often requires the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Key and Record Keeping: Carefully manage and secure vehicle keys, often using a system (like claim tickets or logbooks) to accurately record the vehicle's location and track all transactions.
Security: Ensure that parked vehicles are locked, windows are closed, and keys are stored securely. Report any suspicious activities.
Traffic Management: Direct traffic flow at the entrance and in the parking lot to maintain order and efficiency.
Vehicle Condition: Perform a quick check for pre-existing vehicle damage upon arrival (for documentation) and ensure the vehicle is returned in the same condition.
