The manufacturing sector in India will see more job creation on the back of the Make in India push, said Moorthy K. Uppaluri, MD & CEO of human resources firm Randstad India. He said with more number of projects taking off, the engineering space would gain more momentum.
According to Uppaluri. the perception about the manufacturing sector is undergoing a change since it has taken up employee-friendly policies and has also been sensitive towards woman employees.He said that over and above salary, work-life balance was also fast becoming one of the major factors to determine which company to join.
