CMVD Assistant Manager – Procurement

Location - BKC Mumbai
Lead sourcing activities:
- Coordinate the preparation of RFx documents, conduct supplier offer assessments, provide comprehensive analysis, lead negotiations with suppliers, and present the final recommendation to the teams.
- Identify procurement levers to achieve full cost optimization objectives.
- In charge of supplier risk assessment in tool and onboarding on financial/procurement system.
Contract and Claim Management:
- Lead negotiation and implementation of new contracts.
- Lead contract renewals, amendments and statement of work.
- Participate in claim resolution process.
Supplier Management:
- Participate in evaluation of supplier performance (KPI, dashboards).
- Ensure the execution of relevant action plans in case of insufficient performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure adequate support for supplier oversight (supply chain, technical, quality, regulatory, legal, etc.).
- Participate in the preparation of business review meetings.
- Represent procurement in cross-functional teams that support day-to-day operations.
Support in Category Management:
- Study dynamics of suppliers (CRO/CDMO) market and specific technologies.
- Support Procurement Lead in definition of strategy and review of preferred suppliers.
- Apply strategy defined by the Procurement Lead.
Reporting & Performance:
- Monitor and drive procurement KPI reporting (savings and other metrics) as defined by the Manager.
- Prepare regular reports for the Manager and internal stakeholders, including procurement KPIs, progress on ongoing actions, risks, and mitigations.
- Ensure consistent communication with the Manager and internal stakeholders.
