Role : Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Create standard accounting/inventory entries and support close processes including: Store support and standard supply chain inventory adjustments and Centralized receiving adjustments
- Perform reconciliations between general ledger, sub ledgers, Inventory
- Analyze financial/quantity discrepancies
- Identify accounting issues and work with management to problem solve
- Think critically to identify areas of process improvement
- Provide cross-functional input and subject matter expertise across departments
- Complete key financial and accounting controls
- Validate system changes to ensure effectiveness and proper adherence to accounting policies
- Develop metrics and other reporting as needed
- Provide customer service to internal business partners
- Cross train and provide back-up support for other functions within the department
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- Associate will need solid, mid-level Excel skills
- Basic SQL skills required
- Effective time management and organization skills to meet deadlines
- Very good with customer service—both written and verbal

Experience/Education:
- 1-2 years accounting experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance is preferred.
