Requirements
- Perform daily outbound calls to US insurance carriers to follow up on the status of outstanding claims.
- Analyze and resolve complex claim denials, identifying root causes related to coding, coverage, or billing errors.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of CPT modifiers to accurately appeal and correct denied or underpaid claims.
- Manage AR for various medical specialties, adapting to different billing rules.
- Navigate multiple billing and EMR software platforms to find information and process claims.
