- Equipment Planning & Allocation
- Analyze project requirements and allocate equipment across sites accordingly
- Coordinate with site teams for equipment mobilization and availability
- Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor machinery performance and usage to minimize downtime
- Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and preventive checks
- Maintain comprehensive records for fuel, service, and breakdowns
- Logistics & Compliance
- Supervise loading, unloading, transport, and storage of heavy equipment
- Assist in procurement/rental and ensure documentation and vendor compliance
- Enforce safety regulations and site protocols for equipment handling
- Coordination & Vendor Management
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal departments for equipment support
- Train operators and monitor handling practices to ensure safety and efficiency
- Provide regular reports to senior management on equipment KPIs
Requirements
Key Skills Required- In-depth knowledge of heavy civil construction machinery (excavators, cranes, dozers, etc.)
- Fleet and equipment scheduling across multiple projects
- Maintenance planning and breakdown troubleshooting
- Proficiency in ERP/CMMS systems (preferred), MS Office
- Strong communication and team coordination
