1. Drive and support product & Process improvement projects and timelines using appropriate statistical and project management techniques.
2. Assist with preparing cost estimates and payback information for new or updated equipment, products and processes
3. Ensure consistency of product performance and reliability utilizing SPC and capability indices
4. Manage the Time study & Line balancing & Plant Capacities
5. Minimize and control manufacturing labor and material variances by identifying problem areas and making improvements.
6. Oversee the completion of work instructions to include setup procedures, tool lists, operation sequences, machine speeds, time standards, process routings and other pertinent data
7. Develops and implements safe, optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes, methods, and equipment platforms.
8. Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, including production workflow, machining and finishing operations, assembly methods, and equipment specifications.
8. Develop Routings, Work Instructions, and Control Plans using manufacturing engineering best practices.
9. Review and/or create engineering drawings and models to ensure they are appropriate for release to the manufacturing shop floor for all the assembly and machining related fixtures and jigs and get them developed internally or by outsourcing
