* Lead periodic Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reviews in alignment with production schedules and
sales forecasts.
* Optimize inventory carrying costs by actively managing safety stocks, reorder points, Lead Time variability,
and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) to mitigate stockouts.
Vendor Relationship & Performance Management:
* Implement formal vendor performance frameworks tracking On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Right First Time (RFT)
quality adherence, and commercial compliance.
* Serve as the key escalation point for vendor disputes, material non-conformance, delivery delays, and
debit note/credit adjustments.
Cost Optimization & Inbound Logistics:
* Formulate and execute structured cost-reduction, value-engineering, and alternate-source development
programs.
* Track domestic and global commodity price trends to time strategic purchase commitments.
* Coordinate with logistics providers, customs/clearing agents, and plant warehouse teams to ensure
compliant, timely gate-in of materials.
MIS, Analytics & Reporting:
* Maintain dynamic procurement dashboards: spend distribution, savings trackers, vendor scorecards, and
open liability reports.
* Deliver monthly procurement KPI reports, purchase budget variances, and market risk forecasts to senior
